Q. A shopkeeper sells a pen for ₹60 at a profit of 20%. What was the cost price?
एक दुकानदार एक पेन ₹60 में 20% लाभ पर बेचता है। पेन का क्रय मूल्य क्या था?

Answer: B. ₹50 — Selling price = cost price × 120/100. So cost price = 60 × 100/120 = ₹50.
विक्रय मूल्य = क्रय मूल्य × 120/100, इसलिए क्रय मूल्य = 60 × 100/120 = ₹50.
