Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Gorky Studies (run by Ramandeep Singh Mathaon) collects, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and password (stored securely by our login provider, never readable by us).
• Profile you enter: display name, full name, contact email, unit and chest number (if you fill them in), and your class.
• Study data: practice and test results, progress, points, time spent, and app settings, so they work on all your devices.
• Content: question banks you upload, chat messages, and questions you report.
• Payments: plan, amount, payment method (UPI or cash), the UPI reference number (UTR) you enter, and when your pass starts and ends. We do not receive or store your bank, card or UPI PIN details.
• Usage: sign-in events, used for security and to show who is active.

Why we use it

To run your account and the app, show your progress and the leaderboard, check payments and give passes, keep the service secure, and answer your questions. We do not sell your data and do not show ads.

Who can see it

• Other students: your display name, class, points and online status (leaderboard, chat).
• Admin: your profile, results and payment requests, to run the service.
• Service providers: Supabase (database and login) and Cloudflare (website hosting) store data for us. If you use AI hints, the question is sent to the AI provider whose key you entered.

On your device

The app saves your settings, progress, AI keys and a copy of question banks in your browser’s storage. Signing out removes the question bank copy. AI keys stay on your device and are never sent to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When a course ends, your scores may stay on the leaderboard. You can ask us to delete your account; we then delete your profile, results, messages and banks, except payment records that we must keep for accounting.

Your choices

You can update your profile in the app, and ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your data by writing to us (see Contact).

Changes

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes.
